After the charitable public welfare initiative was launched, it received widespread support from schools across the board. Within just one week, more than 10 schools and institutions, along with over 50 principals and teachers, as well as over a hundred student parents, enthusiastically participated. This heartwarming donation drive delivered new Yi New Year outfits—totaling 2,682 sets worth 297,600 yuan—to children at early childhood education centers and kindergartens in places like Ganluo Puchang Town Central Kindergarten, Meishan Village in Puchang Town, and Qiaobian Village.

Since Beijing University's Jinggangshan Experimental School launched its charitable donation drive, teachers and students alike have enthusiastically responded, generously contributing and actively donating. Together, they’ve collected nearly 100 pieces of winter clothing for the two designated aid stations they’ve adopted: the early childhood education center in Naituo Village, Bobo Township, Ganluo County, and the early childhood education center in Erjue Village, Xinshiba Town, Ganluo County. This heartfelt gesture has brought warmth and care to the children living in these mountain communities, weaving a beautiful melody of love.

This charitable donation event also serves as a practical way to teach our students the importance of cultivating excellent qualities from an early age—such as caring about public welfare and being willing to help others.

At the symposium held as part of the Loving-Kindness Public Welfare Initiative, Xu Yan, Deputy County Mayor of Ganluo County People’s Government, and Qiu Yong, Principal of Tianba Town Central Primary School, presented donation certificates to representatives from each school that participated in the contribution. Professor Fan Aiai, Director of the Education Training Center at Peking University’s School of Education, and Wang Yin, Chairman of the Alumni Association of Peking University International School, spoke one after the other, expressing their commitment to providing targeted support for Ganluo and emphasizing their hope to turn this charitable initiative into a sustainable, long-term public welfare activity.

Following this, Vice County Magistrate Xu Yan expressed her gratitude to the 31-member delegation of the charitable outreach team. She said: "The cause of kindness is the warmest endeavor under the sun, and people filled with compassion are the most beautiful individuals in the world. Each new piece of clothing represents a heartfelt gesture—a token of love and hope. The children of Ganluo will grow up healthy and happy, nurtured by the care and anticipation of these generous donors."

"True kindness exists in the human world, and acts of generosity warm hearts. Peking University Jinggangshan Experimental School will continue to actively participate in various charitable and public welfare activities, bringing as much warmth as we can to individuals and communities—and contributing positively to society. Though winter winds may be biting, warmth has the power to spread. We look forward to having even more of you join us in our next charitable initiative!"
