Huawei's self-built project in Angola is located in the new district of Luanda Province, Angola, Africa. It serves as Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd.'s dedicated campus project in the Angolan region, featuring comprehensive facilities such as office spaces, exhibition areas, training centers, a restaurant, and accommodation and lifestyle amenities for overseas employees. The project spans an area of 32,084 square meters and is designed to accommodate 300 people working on-site and 160 residents. The total construction area of the project reaches 24,440 square meters. Our company is responsible for constructing Section 1, which includes essential ancillary buildings like office spaces, service buildings, a substation, and gatehouses, covering a floor area of 13,192 square meters. These structures are multi-story civil buildings, with 1 to 3 floors above ground and a partially embedded basement level in some areas. Huawei Angola’s innovative and training center project, backed by a US$60 million investment, is expected to be completed and operational by September 2021. This state-of-the-art facility will significantly enhance Angola’s market competitiveness and equip the country to meet the challenges posed by the digital economy in Southern Africa. Through its investment in the Innovation and Training Center, Huawei Angola aims to accelerate the transfer of ICT knowledge and skills across Angola, foster local innovation, and cultivate the ICT talent essential for the nation’s sustainable development—ultimately contributing to Angola’s broader socio-economic growth. In 2020, despite the global pandemic, our company, under the leadership of our management team and with the unwavering dedication of all employees, successfully overcame numerous challenges. On October 13, 2020, we proudly achieved the timely completion of the main building’s roof capping milestone.

Our company is responsible for constructing Section 1, which includes ancillary buildings such as office spaces, service buildings, a switchgear room, and a gatehouse, with a total floor area of 13,192 m². This is a multi-story civil public building, featuring 1 to 3 stories above ground, with a partial section extending down to one semi-basement level.
 
Huawei Angola's innovative and training center project, which involves a $60 million investment, is expected to be completed and operational by September 2021. This will enhance Angola's market competitiveness and equip the country to tackle the challenges posed by the digital economy in Southern Africa.
